### Learning Tips

 (1) Review the value of money (quarters, nickels, dimes, pennies, half dollars, silver dollars). Divide paper into two parts and use real coins to make both sides equal. (2) Use a balancing scale to make both sides equal, using objects and shapes. For example, 3 yellow squares = 1 red rectangle. Place it in the scale to see if it balances.
